Artabout provides the rare chance to walk into local artist studios and witness their artistic process. Organized by Ah Haa School for the Arts, this is a free, self-guided artist studio tour that takes place the weekend of October 3rd and 4th, 2026, participating ArtAbout artists will open the doors of their studios to the public, allowing visitors to understand their process, shop their artwork and develop connections and relationships.
Art About maps can be found at the Ah Haa or the visitors center and the route will encompass artist studios in Telluride, along with those in Ophir, Rico, Placerville, Norwood, Ridgway, Ouray, Silverton, and Montrose taking participants on an art-driven road trip during peak leaf peeping season.
Before the event takes place, Ah Haa will host an artist preview exhibition that will give people an idea of what kind of art they will see at various studios. During the Art About weekend, artists will welcome visitors into their studios, share their process, and sell their art to collectors directly.
