Join Ah Haa for a formal, plated, eight-course South Asian “Chaat” dinner on the Sky Deck by guest Chef Biju Thomas. This upscale seated dinner in Ah Haa’s top-floor event space includes wine pairings with each course. An annual fundraiser for Ah Haa School for the Arts programming, your participation helps keep classes accessible to the entire community, including Locals’ Lunches and Seasonal Suppers.
According to Chef Biju, “Chaat” is less a specific dish and more of a feeling you get with each bite. A joyful layering of textures and temperatures, a perfect bite will be slightly sweet, salty, crunchy, warm and cold, all at the same time – leaving you wanting more. From Pappadams and Samosas, to Jeweled Rice, Dal and Tandoori-spiced dishes, Chef Biju will combine South Asian flavors, spices and techniques with Colorado “frontier” ingredients. Selected, elevated wine pairings will accompany each course.
Biju will also teach two classes: South Asian Curries & Everyday Chutneys on 8/19 and The Feed Zone: Performance Food That Travels on 8/20.
