Ah Haa’s cozy Library & Lounge on the second floor is the place to browse, borrow and find a place of belonging on your artistic and creative journey. Our ever expanding library provides books and resources that will extend and supplement your classroom experience through research and reading.

In Memory of Michael Ruterbories

Michael Ruterbories was a shining light in the Telluride community and a rising star as an artist. He frequently took classes at Ah Haa School for the Arts, where his love for art blossomed and his inherent talent grew. He took classes in printmaking, watercolor, photography, mixed media, and – what ultimately became his favorite – acrylic painting and figure drawing. In between classes, Michael frequently visited Ah Haa to ask questions, borrow books and share his latest masterpiece. He was always gracious, kind and inquisitive. In a nutshell, Michael was a perfect example of Ah Haa fulfilling its mission – to inspire people to discover, nurture, and celebrate creativity.
