Ceramics Open Studio offers ceramics students a monthly space to create, make and share at Ah Haa’s purpose built facility with 12 wheels, slab roller, handbuilding tables, extruder, three electric cone 6 kilns and a glazing kitchen. This incubator for emerging and established ceramic artists is a cornerstone of Telluride’s creative community and commitment to create opportunities for access to hands-on arts spaces for those who want to create.
Open Studio spaces are available first come, first served, and a waitlist will be established with full capacity. Materials including clay, glazes, and firing fees are not included in the membership fee and may be purchased from Ah Haa. Included in your monthly fee, is a dedicated storage shelf and shared space in a lockable cabinet. Membership fees are due the Monday before the first day of each month. Failure to pay on time will result in the immediate loss of your membership and movement to the bottom of the waiting list. Please note that adult and youth students enrolled in our traditional classes have priority over the main classroom space during scheduled class times. Open Studio members may work in the glazing kitchen during scheduled class times, which includes a handbuilding table and two wheels.
