Palette Knife Painting Workshop
with Daniel Kanow

This two-day workshop uses palette knives and non-traditional tools to create objective and non-objective art via personal interpretation. The two days are self-directed and based on choice, process, and experimentation. Students can work from an image or can work intuitively. In addition to using palette knives to manipulate large amounts of acrylic paint, students should expect to work with string, found objects, foil and plastic wrap, highlighting the experimental nature of this class. Intermediate skill level required.
