ILLEGAL ART X TEEN FELLOWSHIP 💥 Otis, co-founder of the participatory public art collective, gave our Teen Fellows a special artist talk! We discussed the value of hosting casual art happenings where everyone creates and exchanges something - it's so important to create, make and share! Our teen fellows were given 15 minutes, paper and sharpies. They each created a handful of drawings which we photocopied and made into mini zines so they could all take home each other's works! The Ah Haa School for the Arts hosts the annual HAHA - a participatory and interactive community event that is a massive, building-wide immersive art installation where each space within the Silverjack Building in Telluride, Co is taken over by a different artist. Whether a single art piece, a full room installation, video, performance and new media content, or a riveting story — we want to see it all. Show us your work and submit your brilliant ideas!

HAHA celebrates each artist’s vision, and encourages all visitors to actively engage with the art. Designed to be accessible to participants of all ages, this immersive experience takes place annually over 3 days in July with over 2,000 participants attending the HAHA each year.

Ah Haa School for the Arts is seeking artists and creative thinkers of all backgrounds and abilities to propose work for HAHA 2025! HAHA is committed to supporting the creative freedom of local, national, and international artists and to creating opportunities for a diverse group of makers to participate.
