Description

Falafel is popular throughout the Middle East and in the U.S., but did you know there are multiple variations? In this class we’ll make falafel two ways – with garbanzo beans like you would see in Israel and the Levant, and the bright green Egyptian style made with fava beans, also known as Ta’ameeya. We’ll top our falafel with tomatoes, cucumber, homemade “restaurant hummus,” and tahini sauce. You’ll learn the secret to making the best fluffy, smooth hummus, and how to turn tahini paste into a sauce you’ll want to put on everything.
